Netflix drops red band trailer of ‘Love Death + Robots’ season two

Netflix’s most awaited adult animated anthology Love Death + Robots season two is all set to premiere worldwide on 14 May 2021.

The streaming giant dropped a minute-long red band trailer on Monday. The R-rated trailer features a lot of vengeance, animated violence, and adult content with a message ‘consume responsibly’.

The upcoming installment will include eight new animated shorts followed by a third installment featuring eight more shorts that will come in 2022.

The first season of Love Death + Robots with 18 shorts was released in March 2019, with a varied length of episodes ranging from six to 17 minutes and the storyline is based on the three aforementioned subjects: love, death, and robots.

Love Death + Robots is created by David Fincher and Tim Miller (Deadpool) and developed by Blur Studios. The adult animated sci-fi anthology series is based on the 1981 cult classic film Heavy Metal, also an animated anthology of various sci-fi stories. For volume two Fincher was joined by Yuh Nelson as the supervising director. The Oscar-nominated director oversees the animation of all eight animation shorts.
