That’s not all, Fountain pixels has also completed a 2D animated film, Hatim Tai for Fountain Music Company which is due for release in September on homevideo. Created by a team of 14 in 45 days, the sixty minute movie has two songs and the CDs of the same are priced at Rs.99/- The animated film is a fantasy which aims to give its audience a sense of thrill and excitement.

Speaking about Hatim Tai, Kantilal Oswal, Proprietor, Fountain Music shared with Animation Xpress.com,”Hatim Tai is an entertainer. We decided to make an animated movie on it since children are familiar with the subject. We are not targeting any particular age group and hope that it will be enjoyed by adults and children alike.”

Fountain Music Company is one of the first companies to produce local content on home video and continues to do so with animated projects being released one after the other. At the moment it is working on the development of an animated film on Sinbad the sailor.

Commenting on the projects that Founatin Pixels has worked on for T-series, Krunal and Fountain Music Company, MD of Fountain Pixels, Rahul Gadiya said “The films that we made for T-series were subjects that already had been touched upon. Hence to make our films distinct we palyed around with the background music, voice over and added a few jingles too.”

He further added, “K Toons chya khajinyatun – Ajobanchya ghosti for Krunal Music is a collection of animated short stories with morals in which the stories are told by a grandfather. Even though he is animated we have tried to make it as realistic as possible as though the kids are actually listening to their grandfather telling them stories.”

“Movies have previously been made on Hatim Tai and we have given our animated movie a different look by giving it the feel of a fantasy with the use of special effects done in flash. Also we spent a lot of time on the storyboard and visualization which is really important” he concluded.
