Color Chips, Zoo, ATP to create TV series on Tales of Tross

nullLeading Indian animation studio Color Chips has shared with Animation Xpress.com that it is working along with UK Based Zoo group and Australian studio Albert Tross productions to create ‘Tales of Tross‘ (2D animation, 26 x 22 minutes)

The contract is a part service, part co production deal between UK based Zoo group and Color Chips, while Albert Tross Productions (ATP) are the ultimate producers of the series. The project was formalized by Scott Hampton, Marketing Manager of Color Chips Ltd who is based out of the studio`s new Australian office.

As per the terms of the agreement signed by Color Chips with Albert Tross Productions, Color Chips will be providing animation and creative services for a series of 26 episodes. Besides, Color Chips will be developing games that would be created out of the said series and would be entitled for a revenue share in the same.

Speaking to Animation Xpress.com, Color Chips Marketing Manager Scott Hampton shared,” Not only do we expect the series to do well in the developed markets, but we also expect a lot of merchandising as well as mobile gaming from this property”

Color Chips MD Sudhish Rambhotla shared, “Our partnership with Zoo Group is a great relationship and we expect to continue the same dealings in the future. This relationship wit ATP and ZOO confirms the strong relations that Color Chips has within the global animation community”

“With the setting up of our Australian office we plan to do a lot of co production deals where we would create content that would be appealing to the western markets” he concluded.
