Wall Street Journal Ranks ASUS among Asia’s 200 top companies

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS), was ranked amongst Asia’s list of 200 top companies by Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Market Intelligence Center (MIC), the world-renowned market research firm, recently conducted a survey on notebook brands, and ASUS was rated as the leading name for product quality, functionality and after-sale services.

One of the criteria for the WSJ Asia 200 is product quality, and ASUS was the highest ranked Taiwanese corporation in all industry categories.

“Commitment to developing the best products, manufacturing the best products, distributing the best products, and providing the best services for the best products are the reasons behind our success,” said Sunny Han, Director of ASUS Global Brand Center.

In all the company took home 1,706 awards from the foremost IT media and organizations, including Germany’s Industries Forum (IF) and Tom’s Hardware Guide, the US’ AnandTech and InfoTech 100, and Japan’s G-Mark, just to name a few.

In MIC’s recent notebook brand survey, consumers rated ASUS as the best brand in product quality, functionality, and after-sales services. In 2006, ASUS, a top-five notebook maker and top-ten notebook brand worldwide, debuted several models that redefined the term “mobile computing”.
