Bulbbul: Anushka Sharma’s upcoming Netflix movie worked upon by redchillies.vfx

The first trailer of Anushka Sharma’s latest production, Bulbbul was recently released and it is full of spooks. The Netflix original features Rahul Bose, Tripti Dimri, Avinash Tiwary in pivotal roles.

The film trailer opens with a kid asking for a story to be narrated and it soon transitions into a scary tale. The video reveals a range of hints that it revolves around a child bride and the injustices meted out to children. While the trailer paints a scary set up with an eerie narrative, it also underscores certain social issues including child marriage and abusive landlords.

The series which is supernatural in nature will naturally have lots of VFX work. The VFX has been worked upon by redchillies.vfx

redchillies.vfx shared, “‪And the wait is almost over! We are thrilled to have worked on Bulbbul. Can’t wait for you all to see it. Premiering on Netflix.”

They are also invovled in on the upcoming movie Gunjan Suxena.

Netflix’s description of Bulbbul reads, “This mystery is an Indian fable set in 20th century Bengal. The film traverses the journey of a young girl, Bulbbul from innocence to strength, as the legend of a chudail casts a looming shadow over her world.”

This proves that while Gunjan Saxena will have ample VFX, Bulbull will showcase a tremedous amount of high quality VFX work ranging from supernatural world-building to ghosts, to spirits to destruction.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical film directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios

Directed by Anvita Dutt, Bulbbul is set to release on Netlflix on 24 June 2020.‪
