‘Halo 5: Guardians’ developers tease upcoming update on the game’s first anniversary

343 Industries’ Halo 5: Guardians was released over Xbox on 25 October last year, thus it recently celebrated its anniversary. But the developers decided to treat the fans with something more to commemorate the game’s one year completion.

The developers of the game have released a free Halo 5 Anniversary REQ pack for all players. The pack titled ‘Greatest Hits Customization Pack’ will contain five items of ultra rare or higher quality. These REQ packs generally contain exceptional items ranging from weapons to emblems, vehicles and more. Although there are no certainty as to what will be there in the packs, but five super rare items are pretty good to be excited about.

Since its release in 2015, the game has received nine DLCs (downloadable content), which brought in six new modes, REQ items, 15 multiplayer maps and more.

However, it seems like the game is still going to get more support from the developers. Celebrating its anniversary, Josh Holmes of 343 Industries teased about upcoming developments of the game in a blog post. His post read, “We’re not quite finished.” Also you can expect an “improved spectator experience” and the ability to join live custom games on Xbox One and Windows 10.

Apparently, the company is also working actively on better matchmaking mechanics and improvising the game’s servers and information regarding that would be released, “”in the not-so-distant future,” said Holmes.
