The adult animated series follows a rock band’s infernal detour, where fame comes with a devilish deal and escaping hell is no easy gig. Rock, riffs and a one-way ticket to the underworld, Gone to Hell, a Canadian adult animated rock-and-roll comedy series, is ready to turn up the heat. The adult animated comedy has joined BangerTV’s programming slate, bringing its blend of heavy metal, supernatural mischief and rock-and-roll satire to the screen.
Created by Brian Peco and Craig Mailman, the eight-episode series follows Demon Destroyer, a world-famous rock band whose members find themselves in hell after a stage performance takes a disastrous turn.
Set in 1994, the story sees the band caught between the afterlife and their still-living bodies on earth. Thanks to an obscure underworld rule known as the coma clause, central plot device in the Canadian adult animation, the musicians have a shot at returning home, provided they reach the gates of hell before their record label pulls the plug. But with demonic personalities, infernal complications and a race against time, their comeback tour is anything but a walk in the park.
The series features Paul Spence as frontman Rick Fashun, Chris Locke as Dev Devilio, Derrick Beckles as drummer Donnie, Jackie Pirico as bassist Jojo, and Kevin Morgan in dual roles as Derek and Deva.
Produced by Banger Films, the project marks the company’s first animated series. The production also features music by Robin Hatch, adding an original sonic punch to its underworld escapade.
Known for its music documentaries and programming, BangerTV is expanding its entertainment offering with the animated comedy. The series is set to make its debut on the platform’s YouTube channel on 30 October 2026.
With a band, a devilish detour and a deadline from the depths, Gone to Hell is bringing a whole new meaning to playing a gig for eternity.
