FutureWorks has delivered VFX work along with EyeQube for Veer. A team of 19 artists has worked on a total of 67 shots for two separate sequences for a month. The scope of VFX work included set extensions, chrome, CGI particles, compositing, bullet animation, clean ups and wire removals.
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com about the key challenges of the project FutureWorks Creative Director Abhishek De said, "Some of the clean ups and wire removals were particularly complex, so there was a back and forth with EyeQube. Also the train robbery sequence which had Salman on top of the train, where we had to create bullet animation was challenging.”

The first sequence the team worked on was the train robbery sequence which had a total of 51 shots. 3 shots were bullet animation, 15 shots were wire removal, 37 shots of clean up of which 4 shots had both wire removal and clean up.
The second sequence was the sword fight sequence with a total of 16 shots including wall extension (15 shots) and sky extension (1 shot) inclusive of a wire removal shot.
Speaking about his experience working with EyeQube, Abhishek shared, "It was a wonderful experience working with EyeQube. We have a long term relationship already having worked together on Drona, Aladin and Veer. I believe sharing projects according to specialization produces better quality work and helps the industry structurally.” VFX Supervisor Srinivas Rao was constantly in touch with EyeQube and as both teams knew each others strengths and the pipeline was set there was a smooth flow of work.
