The preview theatre at Big AIMS, Pune was filled with students, faculty and management alike as they gathered to give away the certificates to 40 students from the first ever successful batch of the Film Making Foundation course since its inception. Present at the occasion where all the top management of Big Animation including CEO Ashish Kulkarni, 3D Pipeline Vice President Praful Gade , Feature Film Vice President Shambhoo Phalke and Human Resources and Training Vice President Vijay Sinha.
Sathish Narayanan, Academic Director, BIG AIMS welcomed the gathering with an introduction to the batch and the faculty and spoke about the institute’s endeavor for the past five months of shaping the student’s talent. Praful Gade and Shambhoo Phalke also appreciated the innovativeness and freshness of thought which the students showed in their work. They distributed certificates and wished the trainees and BIG AIMS a bright future.

This is turning out to be a wonderful synergy between our unique curriculum and their keen aptitude which is taking each student to a superior level in art, creativity, storytelling and film making process. They are evolving as perfect professionals in the field of animation. BIG AIMS achieved its first milestone and has made all of us feel proud today." He emphasized that BIG AIMS is committed to meet its objective of bridging the talent gap in the Indian animation industry."
The occasion was celebrated by praising the students with showcasing some of the best work done by the batch, their portfolio of art and sketches, scaling from their skills prior to joining the course and after joining the course to help the students realize the improvement in them.

There was also a screening of some of the best selected short films made by the students on the basis of their learning during the film making foundation course. The students prepared their films, choosing socially relevant topics which conveyed strong messages to society. Ashish Kulkarni shared his excitement by congratulating the faculty and the students; encouraging them to nurture their creative thinking and keep on working on the foundation; by advising students that basics are of utmost importance no matter where one reaches.
