X-Gen has team consisting of highly experienced CG artists and faculties. Nihar Chouhdary has previously worked with Dreamwell Animation.
X-Gen’s 3D Animation and VFX course at INR 1, 35,000 will provide basic animation classes and lectures on various aspects of animation. The academy is to offer hostel facility and multiple specializations. HSC passed students can register for this course. First 3 months of the course will teach about animation pipeline, pre production, production and post-production.
In the fourth month the academy will conduct a general test to help students opt for the specialization. In the next set of 3 months, students will concentrate and work on modules modeling, texturing, sculpting, rendering etc.
After 9 months, they will strictly focus on developing films, games and CG. X-Gen is planning to get a tie-up with Autodesk for students’ certification.
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com, Nihar says, “It’s my dream to have a huge X Genres Animation Studio Pvt. Ltd. team working on an animation film, these students who approach this course might be part of it” says Nihar.

Followed by the registration students have to go through an entrance exam which consists – Written test, Personal Interview and group discussion. Registration for the entrance exam is now open and will end on 20 April 2014.
