What’s the one thing that’s common between Krrish and Ra.One? Both are Indian superheroes and have won hearts of the audiences and soon to join them would be a superwoman who will be a super badass character. The superwoman will be played by none other than India’s newest heartthrob Sunny Leone.
Sunny Leone will be launching her own banner in India along with husband Daniel Weber. The couple have a production base in Los Angeles but the Indian version of it will be totally different and will have a new name.
The film that has rumoured to have wrapped up its pre-production will have more of a Marvel Cinematic Universe kind of feel said Sunny Leone. She added, “We shoot first, with me in an eyeball-grabbing superhero outfit, a bright cape and special powers. Then, we bring out a comic book series revolving around my character as well as other merchandise. We are spinning the story from scratch – from the superwoman’s back-end story to how she came to possess her powers, like they do in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s something Bollywood has not fully explored.”
It is not often that we get to see comics based on movies in India. We will have to wait and watch if this superwoman manages to bring something out of the box in the Bollywood industry as promised.
The movie begins shooting in Mumbai next month and parts of it will also be shot in the US.
