Studio 100 Media sells “Arthur and the Minimoys – The Series” to Finland

Studio 100 Media announced today that is has sold the CGI animated series “Arthur and the Minimoys” (26 x 26’) to Finland.  Nelonen Media, part of Sanoma Media Finland, the multichannel media company in Finland known for its leading brands, has acquired the new series based on Luc Besson’s successful book saga and movie trilogy.  Currently in production, the first episodes of the series are set for delivery by December 2017.  The agreement gives Nelonen Media exclusive TV rights for their Free and Pay TV channels.

Commenting on the deal, Studio 100 Media, head of global distribution, Martin Krieger said, “We are delighted about this extended collaboration with Nelonen Media who is already on board with us for two of our latest productions, ‘Nils Holgersson’ (52 x 13’) and ‘The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill’ (52 x 12’).  We are confident that each of the three new CGI series will capture kids’ attention in Finland and further across international territories.”
