Stephen Fry and Richard Osman Join ‘Danger Mouse’ Cast

Comedian, actor and presenter Stephen Fry and Pointless star Richard Osman will be lending their vocal talents to the eagerly awaited new animated iteration of Danger Mouse, coming to CBBC in the UK next year. Fry will voice croquet-loving chinchilla Colonel K, while Osman will play jellyfish genius Prof. Strontium Jellyfishowitz.

Fry’s character is an elderly chinchilla and unflappable anchor of the British Secret Service. In addition to being Danger Mouse’s boss, he is also Chairman of the Willesden Green Amateur Flower Arranging and Operatic Society. The Colonel is always on hand to lend his secret agent wisdom of experience, but sometimes has a warped perspective on what constitutes a crisis.

Prof. Jellyfishowitz, voiced by game show presenter Osman, is the top scientist in the world. As a jellyfish cruising around in a motorized fish tank, he has no face but wears a pair of half-eye glasses on the tank. He is incredibly clever and quite handy in a fight thanks to his stinging tentacles.

Also joining the cast are Ed Gaughan who will be voicing amphibious villain Baron Greenback and Kayvan Novak (Cuban FuryFaceJacker) who will bring to life a variety of different characters across the series. The show stars Alexander Armstrong as Danger Mouse and Kevin Eldon as hamster sidekick Penfold. Danger Mouse is commissioned by CBBC and co-produced with FremantleMedia Kids & Family. Boulder Media is producing the animation.
