Sony Music signs India’s most popular kids’ icon ‘Rob’ a.k.a Harun Robert

Music giant Sony Music signs on an arts & crafts wizard and India’s most popular & favourite kid’s icon Rob! The label will not only be managing the award-winning designer but also working very closely in creating and developing exciting new properties for Kids under the label Sony Music Kids.

A true artist at heart, Rob has created spectacular art forms that have appealed to children across age groups. Commenting on the association Rob said: “It feels great to be a part of such an illustrious label and I am looking forward to exploring a whole new world of opportunities in the Kids’ space. We are already working on something fun for Children’s Day.”

Adding on, Anjana Devraj – head Sony Music Kids said: “Rob is best known for transforming everyday material into fascinating works of art and we along with him plan to build unique properties for kids through on-ground events such as Workshops, performance-based LIVE shows as well as his very own YouTube Channel. We are extremely positive about the Kids space and believe there are huge potentials and many opportunities that can be explored.”

A true ambassador of creative arts for children, Rob is an NID Ahmadabad graduate who loves to experiment with various artistic elements. With simple art tools such as pencils, paintbrushes, colors and paper, Rob takes the kids on a joyride from easy painting techniques to fun and exciting paper crafts, exploring the world of possibilities through art and imagination. Sony Music will also be taking Rob to new avenues to reach out to older audiences through talks on creativity and designing art-installations for diverse experiential events and properties.

Sony Music has created a dedicated team to work with Rob in producing new content and developing unique concepts that will thrill kids and parents alike.
