Play Sims 4 for free on Origin Game Time

The Sims fans rejoice. Electronic Arts (EA) has added The Sims 4 to its Origin’s Game Time library; meaning you can download the game and play the game as much as you want for 48 hours before deciding to loosen your purse strings and buying a copy.

EA explained: “You’ll get the full version of The Sims 4 on Origin Game Time. Sample all-new creative tools like Build Mode and Create-A-Sim, then explore vibrant neighbourhoods, build relationships or cause chaos. It’s all up to you. “Your progress in The Sims 4 will be saved, so if you decide you want to buy the game and keep playing after Game Time has ended, you can pick up right where you left off.”

Game Time is a library full of free games which can be played but only a permanent basis. It is a full game and not a limited demo but you only get limited hours. The time won’t start ticking until you start the game but once you start the game, ensure that you do pull off reasonable amount on time on the game before the timer hits zero. If you decide to buy the game once the session is over, any progress made in game will be saved and it will reflect the next time you open the game.

The Sims 4 released in September 2014, has been received with mixed reviews from the industry with praises coming in the department of visuals, audio and the moods system in the game but fans were dissatisfied with the game as it lacked the engagement of its predecessor The Sims 3.

The company has been ramping up their promotion of the title with the game packs as well. Post-launch, The Sims 4 will have a number of packs released and they’ve already received the Outdoor Retreat pack to help keep fans coming back for more.

Origin’s Game Time page is full of exciting titles ranging from Titanfall, Kingdoms of Amalur and Battlefield 4. The first two games are available for 48 hours of game time while Battlefield 4 can be played for 168 hours.
