Nickelodeon’s shows take off before ATF

A few days before The Asian Television Forum (ATF) is all set to kick-off, a clutch of Nickelodeon’s animated series have been picked up by broadcasters in Asia.

ABS-CBN in Philippines has licensed the freshman season of Paw Patrol, the third season of Team Umizoomi, sixth season of Dora the Explorer and eighth and ninth seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants. This apart, viewers will also get to see the first two seasons of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, third season of Penguins of Madagascar, first and third seasons of Kung Fu Panda and the first seasons of both The Legend of Korra and Monsters vs Aliens.

IPTV broadcaster BesTV from China has taken special episodes of Dora the Explorer, A Fairly Odd Christmas, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner!, first two seasons of Dora the Explorer, season nine of Fairly Odd Parents, fourth season of Team Umizoomi, first seasons of T.U.F.F. Puppy and Bubble Guppies and the second, third and seventh seasons of SpongeBob.

Also included in its portfolio are the first two seasons of Invader Zim, first seasons of Monsters vs Aliens, Planet Sheen and Robot and Monster, seasons one and two of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius as well as the first seasons of Sanjay & Craig, Legend of Korra and Kung Fu Panda.

Pay TV Eastern Broadcasting Asia from Taiwan has chosen the first eight seasons of SpongeBob, third, fourth and sixth seasons of Dora the Explorer, first two seasons of Go, Diego, Go!, seasons two and four of Team Umizoomi, season four of Blue’s Clues, season one of Paw Patrol, second season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the first season of Monsters vs Aliens.
