Green Gold Animation heads to the Asian Television Awards in Singapore

From the temples of Bali to Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Green Gold Animation has been globetrotting for the past few years, and brought back the essence of these places and entertained kids all across India and sometimes, even across the globe.

Now, once again the travel bug has hit the team at Green Gold Animation, as they venture out to Singapore, where Chhota Bheem and The Throne of Bali and Mighty Raju 3 Villians have been nominated for the Asian Television Awards 2014 in the “Best 2D Animated Programme” category. Nominated amongst productions from Malaysia, Australia and Hong Kong, this is indeed a moment of pride for Green Gold Animation.

This isn’t the first time that Green Gold Animation has been nominated internationally. Earlier this year, Chhota Bheem was nominated at the Licensing Fair in Las Vegas Awards Ceremony on 17 June, 2014 for Film, Television or Entertainment Program Category and was amongst the top three finalists at the Hong Kong International Licensing Fair for the Best Asian Category.

Having established a foothold in the South Asian markets, this nomination at the Asian Television Awards is indeed a great opportunity for Green Gold to shine brighter and put India on the global animation map.

Brief synopsis of the movies:

Chhota Bheem and the Throne of Bali: On an invitation from the King of Bali, Bheem & his friends head out to Bali to attend the crowning ceremony of their Prince. On their way, Raja Indraverma tells them about beautiful Bali, and the kids are super excited to visit this land of unlimited landscapes. But before they can reach Bali, the kingdom is captured by evil Rangda who also arrests the king & queen of Bali. However the little Crown Prince manages to escape and alliances with Bheem to take on Rangda, the evil witch who wants to rule Bali.Rangda is a very powerful villain, and has Leyaks as her army who cause destruction and disease among the people and animals. Now, it is upto Bheem and his friends along with the Prince to take on, fight and defeat the evil witch.

Mighty Raju – 3 Villians: The usually quiet city of Mahanagar is under attack by three vicious and destructive criminals, Bijli, Chattan and Dhamaka. This time crime and adventure beckon our super hero, Mighty Raju, to Mahanagar where he has to fight the 3 Villans to save the city. Taking part in the school dance competition is the only way he will be able to go to the location of the crime. So, with dancing on one hand and thrashing the three villains on the other, watch Mighty Raju, with all his cool gadgets, run head straight into destruction and come out a shining victor.
