DC Animations at the finishing edge of its upcoming film ‘My Twisted Alien’

Animation is for kids? OK. This one is certainly not!

Chandigarh based DC Animations in collaboration with Lo-Enterprise are at the midst of creating their new film ‘My Twisted Alien’, a 3D animated double entendre, whacky,  adult humor targeted at the audience of 17 and above. The film is soon to be released at Big Screen Film Productions and Bi-weekly YouTube uploads.

The story of the film revolves around five naughty but cute wiry aliens heading to earth, led by their captain Bugzee Blooballs. The aliens find themselves in a difficulty while they are escaping; it is due to their evil nemesis Zura Poon and his dark army the Poontang clan. The escapees are Bugzee Blooballs (leader of the ship), Nunny Cunny (the only female alien aboard), Nogo Pogo, Iwacky DaPink and Le’me Uranus. After landing on earth near a girl’s school, my twisted aliens quickly make friends, before making more serious plans to return to their own planet to recapture their homeland.

nullSpeaking to Animationxpress.com about the film and its USP Ravi Yadav, Director DC animations shared, “The USP of the film is solely humor. We aim to entertain our audiences by creating a film consisting factors of laughter, naughtiness, sensitivity, devotion towards friendship and finally, triumph over evil. ‘My Twisted Alien’ is all about it! The clever humor geared toward adults, is dished out by a wide range of unique characters, some as small as 4 inches tall.”

Lorenza Lydia – CEO, founder Lo-Enterprise and the creator of the content added “We know from the history of animations, parents escort their kids to movies that they both  enjoy, adults sometime sheepish grin at the adult humor planted inside an innocent animation that goes completely over the child’s head. Well “My Twisted Alien” doesn’t lean too much in the subliminal, subtle humor department, its right there on your face.”

nullThis 50 minuter film is developed by 10 animation artists, 11 voice-over actresses and 4 writers i.e. Senior Writer George Elder, Producer and Creator Lorenza Lydia, Lead Voice-over Sarah Nicole Howard, Production coordinator Deena Reed, Creative Head – CG Ravi Yadav, 3d Project manager Anu Gautam Sharma, Lead animator Kamal Thapa and VFX supervisor Varun Thakur.

Elaborating on the process of the film, Ravi added, “This movie has alot of environmental backgrounds and props.  It took us alot of time to model all these stuff. To achieve more control in post production space scenes we rendered in different layers and passes. Later on these layers were put together in pot and corrected individually to get the final output. Passes rendering is always important as it helps to control the minute details too as in reflection, occlusion etc.

Few scenes are still under progress, there is a crowd scene in climax where there are lots of aliens together in one place. When we work on a film we face problems, we solve them and learn new stuff in the path. This helps us to keep working in an improved way and create better art with every new project.”

Once the film is released the audiences also have a chance to win contests based on ‘My Twisted Alien’ which will involve secrets of the movie. The winners of the contest will get a chance to win prizes and goodies.
