Zabuza Labs Game ‘Dahihandi Knock Down’ Grabs 7th Position in Top Free Casual Apps on Google App Store

Casual gaming app ‘Dahihandi Knock Down’, created by Nashik based Zabuza Labs, has nabbed 7th Position in the Top Free Casual App Section on Google App Store. Founded in 2011 and Spearheaded by Manas Gajare, Zabuza released the game as a free app for Android users on 24th August and has crossed one lac downloads till date.
The game play of ‘Dahihandi Knock Down’ is targeted to audiences who wish to rejoice Gokulasthami festive mood and offers 30 engaging levels wherein you see Dahihandi’s placed at different positions on a slab and you need to hit and knock them down. The game is also going global with its downloads happening at Iraq, Indonesia, Pakistan and Thailand.
Zabuza till date has created 350 android apps, 10 android games and a few iOS apps. ‘Dahihandi Knock Down’ is the second achievement of Zabuza Labs in the gaming sphere as their game ‘Balloon Bow & Arrow’ was on the first position in the Top Free Games list on Android and crossed 1.5 million download mark.
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com, Manas Gajare, says, “DahiHandi always spreads out an energetic vibe and this stands as a prime reason for presenting this festival in form of a gaming app.”
An urban look and feel is given to this 2D game by adding village background having small huts, temples, slingshot and dahihandi’s.
Adds more,” Simplicity in all the aspects of game was the main guideline that we followed while creating this game”
It has taken around a month for Zabuza to complete this game. Senior and Junior Android Developers at Zabuza, Kiran Bachhav and Sagar Bhandare have worked on the game.
Software AndEngine and Eclipse SDK were used to create the gaming app.The team tested the game on various mobile devices having different screen sizes and asked a few people to play the game prior to the launch. Most of the animation for this game is executed using the physics engine and the team has applied motion to the game elements using AndEngine.
Informs more, “Level designing was a challenge for creating this game wherein we had to jot down the amount of elements that needed to be added in each level and then setting difficulties.”
In the upcoming version of this game, Zabuza is planning a 100 level game play with adding more backgrounds and show this festival played in International countries New York, Sydney, London and Paris.
