Creatiosoft releases ‘Kaanchi the Game’ on Android

Experience Subhash Ghai’ upcoming Bollywood Movie ‘Kaanchi’ through a single player game titled ‘Kaanchi the Game’, that is created by Creatiosoft in association with biscoot.com, owned by ShotFormats and is out as a free app on Android.

With controls like accelerometer, swipe up, down and double tap to shoot your enemy ,in this 3D endless running game, you play as Kaanchi, who is running through the beautiful landscapes of Himalayas, but Mithun Chakraborty, Rishi Kapoor and Rishabh Sinha are trying to stop her. And this is when Kaanchi decides to shoot, dodge and passes all the hurdles in her way.

“The objective of this game is to make wild dashes, explore the maximum distance possible and help her in her fight for the welfare of the human generation.” Shares Rishabh Agrawal, Founder of Creatiosoft with AnimationXpress.com

The team went through the synopsis, trailer and posters of the movie that reflect that Kaanchi is a story about a brave girl, who has challenged the system of the nation, corrupt politicians and greedy businessmen, and decided to bring the revolution to aware the people of the country.

“We got pretty excited as the storyline of the movie is perfect for designing a great game. Following the brief, Game Design document was prepared portraying Kaanchi, the heroine as the main character fighting against various villains in the movie like Mithun Chakraborty as corrupt politician, Rishi Kapoor as greedy businessmen and Rishabh Sinha as Kakda for our game play.”Adds more

Rishabh believes that the game has the potential to attract mass audiences regardless of their demographics. Interestingly, it takes inspiration from other gaming apps.

“Chennai Express” gaming app displayed energetic look and feel . We loved the way they executed the characters as well as the overall game mechanics and we intend to provide similar and if possible better experience to our end users. ”

Colours and Setting of this game are composed with lush green jungles, from water falls to big rocky treacherous mountain. “Bright, energetic, crisp and exciting were the words that we wanted to instill in the game. We want to let the player indulge into the game completely and feel the environment which is portrayed in the feature film”

For Creatiosoft, who has created the game within a month, chooses 3D medium as a first preference when it comes to developing games on Bollywood movies. Programming of the game is done with C# and Game Engine utilized is Unity.

“3D has its own charm! For feature film based game, our users will always look forward to an exciting 3D environment to play in.”

Challenge faced by the team of five developers was to present the film’ characters in a cartoon avatar,

“We had to work our way through, not only avoid but resolve all the technical issues like polycount, texture size, how much hair should the lead character have, etc. and reach our goal of creating matching the characters from the movie.”, concludes Rishabh
