Today is the day when the biggest wrestling promotional in Mexico carried on television is going to premier. El Rey Network will be premiering the most awaited second season of Lucha Underground and before that, there’s an even more joyous news for Rey Mysterio’s fans. ComicBook has revealed an exclusive look at the first issue of a new Rey Mysterio’s comic book.
This comic book is called Peace Keeper and the story has been provided by Justin Ortiz and Christopher DeJoseph. And from that story, Fabian Rangel Jr. scripted the issue with AC Osorio providing the art.
This comic is the first of four that El Rey Network will release bi-weekly, which will all be available on Scribd once all issues are out.
The television series has been critically acclaimed with IMDb giving a 9.3 on 10 rating. Lucha Underground’s second season kicks off 8 pm ET/PT on El Rey Network.
