Nagpur based Coffee Beans studio delivered the VFX promo of 3rd International Film Festival Nagpur dated March 16th to 22nd 2012. It was entirely produced and executed in Coffee Beans studio.
The concept behind this commercial was to show a glimpse of all the countries participating in the festival & then to display the name of the movies which were being showcased in the festival. The USP was not only the way in which the model is able to control things around him but also able to move everything as per the beats of the music. It is entertaining & conveys the idea to the audience.
The particle simulation was entirely created in Maya, the post production was done in After Effects & the final editing was done in Sony Vegas. The Shooting took a complete day & the simulation, animation, rendering, post production summed up to around 20 days. The simulation was created solely by a single vfx artiste, the rendering & post production was taken care of by the rest of the team.
Talking to Animationxpress.com about the promos Aniket Sinkar, director, Coffee Beans studio said “We needed to shoot the character in front of green screen so that we could add our desired background. Since it was our first independent chroma shoot we definitely faced challenges but these challenges only led us to a great learning experience & encouraged us to go ahead & face bigger challenges. This was the first VFX shot created in Nagpur by Nagpurians. Though we know that there are much better effects used worldwide, we humbly accept our shortcomings yet we are extremely proud & honored to be able to introduce the concept of Animation & Visual Effects to our very own Nagpur city.”
He further added “It was impossible to do a project like this alone. Coffee Beans Studio is blessed with an efficient production team which involves cameraman Sameer Dandekar, 5 Lightmen who executed the directors vision,Vaibhav Panch our musician & Aditya our model. I looked after the overall management of the project. The 3d particle simulation was created by Ashita Reuben.”
Coffee Beans Studio which was establishedon the 1st of March 2011 by Ashita Reuben and Aniket Sinkar deals in the conceptualizing, development & production of animated properties for all kinds of media. Coffee Beans focus is on 3 dimensional (3D) animations and live action films.

Presently Coffee Beans studio is working on organizing an animation film festival in collaboration with Nirzar film Society. They are also occupied in creating their company profile and planning to create 3D folk tales which is still on the pre-production stage.
