Pixar Animation Studios has revealed that Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Octavia Spencer are the four members of the voice cast for its original new feature film Onward.
Earlier in June on an official post, it was stated that Disney files titles around two years prior to a film’s release, especially for new franchises. Finally, it is fixed that Onward is set to launch in theatres on 6 March 2020. The movie is set in a suburban fantasy world and it introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there.
The movie is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae and according to them, they’ve assembled a dream voice cast to help bring key characters to life. “At Pixar, we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth. This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother,” said director Dan Scanlon in a statement.
The movie aims to bring humour and passion of Spencer and Pratt, Holland’s infectious charm and sincerity, Louis Dreyfus warmth and loving side.
