Captain America – The Civil War to bring in more Avengers than Age of Ultron

Marvel has officially announced kick-starting the production of its 13th superhero flick in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Captain America – The Civil War.  While the building of the production sets have commenced in Atlanta, Georgia, more and more news about Captain’s next sequel is making its way on the web.

Unveiling the plot for the upcoming sequel, Civil War will follow the events of Age of Ultron when the collective governments of the world pass the Superhero Registration Act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This creates a rift between the Avengers, splitting the various Marvel superheroes to side with either Iron Man or Captain America, causing an epic battle between former allies.

While the Civil War is all set to divide the Marvel universe into two factions, the movie will witness shared screen time amongst many Avengers of which some would be altogether new heroes and would only add more curiosity to the slate.

Confirming the so far official list of superheroes, Civil War will see the likes of Captain America (Chris Evans) leading his own sequel along-side his newly matched nemesis Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). Apart from these two titans, reportedly coming back from the old Avengers will be Hawk Eye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), The Vision (Paul Bettany) and (Elizabeth Olsen) Scarlet Witch.

Adding further to the bandwagon of Marvel’s superheroes, Marvel Studios has also officially roped in the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Shan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Emily VanCamp will be there as Agent 13/ Sharon Carter. Also playing an unnamed Marvel character, Martin Freeman will also be sharing Civil War’s glory.

Following the upcoming and anticipated Ant Man starring Paul Rudd as Ant-Man/ Scott Lang, Ant Man has also been confirmed to reprise his Avenger suit in Civil War.

Adding more to this excitement, Marvel has confirmed cameos from Wakanda’s Black Panther and New York’s web slinger, Spiderman to grace the Civil War as well, making Captain America-The Civil War, one of biggest Marvel movies.

Setting the box office on fire, Captain America-The Civil War will hit theatres on 6th May, 2016 and will possibly break apart the Marvel Universe superheroes that have bonded together since 2008’s Iron man.
