So the BYOG game development weekend has come to an end. With game developers sweating it out in creating their games for the last three days, now it is up to the audience to play, vote and share the games.
A total 27 games have been submitted on the BYOG website with over 90 people participating to create these games. “Last year, 42 games were submitted with over 70 people participating in BYOG 2013. Although the number of games submitted is less this year, the quality of the games is better. It is going to be tricky to select 10 games from these 27,” informs, Kinshuk Sunil, organiser for this year’s BYOG.
Internationally, only developers from Taiwan have participated for the game jam. More information about the developers will be revealed later.
The voting will be on till 30 October and the participants have the chance to chuck out bugs from games and incorporate the feedback from the ‘testers’. The chat section on the website can also be used to voice one’s views about the games and give the developers ‘food for thought’.
