Autodesk Launches SketchBook Design Competition in 30 Countries

Autodesk today launched Live it. Sketch it. Share it,, an online design competition for youth in over 30 countries worldwide to showcase their creative talent.

Participants will use Autodesk  SketchBook  Express to create an original piece of artwork that best depicts the theme, “Your story. Your masterpiece. Our canvas.”

Live it. Sketch it. Share it. Illustrates Autodesk’s commitment to helping students to imagine, design, and create a better world by supporting their creativity with seamless access to Autodesk technology.  With a full portfolio of personal design and professional-grade products, Autodesk introduces students and educators at all levels, to design and the power of design technology, providing a path to careers as professional designers or to being lifelong design hobbyists.

“This is a great opportunity for educators to encourage their students to express their personal creativity by incorporating the challenge into their art, history, social and cultural studies classes. There are also plenty of Autodesk SketchBook learning resources freely available on the Autodesk Digital STEAM Workshop,” said Naman Khan, director of secondary education at Autodesk.

The competition is open until 31 July 2014, and panel of prestigious judges from the fields of art and design will review finalist entries and determine the winners who will win the opportunity to have their entry showcased to millions around the world on theAutodesk SketchBook® blog and deviantART websites.
