Archie Comics now available on Kindle and ComiXology

The most talked about hunk in the comic world currently, Archie Andrews with his new funkier cool looks in the new Archie series by Mark Waid and Fiona Staples can now be read across the ComiXology platform. Archie’s digital comic books, graphic novels and also 1,700 single issues will now be available for sale in Kindle Store including Archie Horror and Dark Circle comic series. Archie Comics, ComiXology and Amazon announced yesterday that they have expanded and renewed distribution agreement to sell Archie’s comics and novels.

“As we look forward to celebrating our 75th anniversary, it’s an ongoing priority for us to engage our fans in new and innovative ways,” said Archie Comics CEO Jon Goldwater.  “We are very pleased to continue serving our readers around the globe through the ComiXology platform, and extremely excited to reach a brand new reading audience through the Kindle Store.”

Kindle readers will now have access to new releases same day as the print release which will include the new Archie series along with the upcoming Jughead by Chip Zdarsky, Betty and Veronica by Adam Hughes and Life with Kevin by Dan Parent and J. Bone. Archie’s graphic novels have been available in the Kindle store for a long time but their recently available 1,700 single issues at Kindle include many popular series and characters from Archies Comics catalogue including Archie, Josie And The Pussycats, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Afterlife with Archie, and a variety of Dark Circle titles.
