Family Guy is going to have a guest voice star and it is none other than Anil Kapoor. This will be Kapoor’s another big international outing after Slumdog Millionaire, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and 24 (US version).
Family Guy is about the Griffin family – parents Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their talking, martini-swilling pet dog Brian. The hugely popular show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, has been running since 1999.
Reluctant to reveal more details about the character he would be dubbing, he said the guest starring on the show has given him an elevated status within his family.
“My children are crazy about the show. They can’t believe I am doing a voice in Family Guy,” he said.
Other regular voice cast in the show includes the show’s creator, Seth MacFarlane, Seth Green and Mila Kunis. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have guest starred on the show include Liam Neeson, Peter Dinklage, Sofia Vergara and Drew Barrymore among many more.
All Anil will divulge is, “My character will appear with the Griffin family. It is a new experience for me. And you know how much I like going into new experiences.”
