Angry Birds franchise now available for free on Windows Phones

Rovio in a major move to attract the gamers from the Windows phone community has made all of its Angry Birds franchise games free. The move is not part of promotion but rather a permanent move from Rovio that has seen a dip in the users who have now moved onto different casual games like Candy Crush and Clash of Clans.

This move is also expected across all the mobile platforms and also with new games releasing from the studio like Angry Birds Transformers and Stella, the numbers are going to rise with the move. The games list includes Angry Birds, Angry Birds Go, Angry Birds Space, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Rio, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Roost and Angry Birds spin-off Bad Piggies.

Rovio is a Finland based game studio that got famous from their Angry Birds franchise back in 2009, which apparently was the company’s 52nd game and since then has seen the game being downloaded by 1 billion users across different mobile platforms.
