Dublin based JAM Media, a creative, production and distribution company, has secured a deal with ABC-Australian Broadcasting Corporation for its live action animated series ‘Little Roy’ to be aired in 2017.
Little Roy is the story of a 5 year old playful boy named Roy O’Brien on a voyage of self discovery. What makes him different from other animated series is that he is a cartoon in the real world, an animated character among real humans. When surrounded by difficulty he switches to his imaginative world and this fictional world is full of adventure and fun.
As it is said that ‘Anything can happen in an imaginative world’, little Roy finds solutions to all his problems and wisely uses them in his real world to make it better. However, these solutions often don’t work the way they are supposed to and Roy enjoys dealing with this predicament.
Commissioned by both Controller of CBeebies Kay Benbow and Controller of CBBC Cheryl Taylor, Little Roy will air on both channels.
JAM Media known for creating and broadcasting content catering to children and ABC having a vast reach of pre-school viewers, will fascinate a wider audience with the creatively comic approach, Little Roy brings on screen.
