14 year old Indian kid creates animation film to spread earthquake awareness

The Nepal earthquake has been the most destructive of the recent times and the effects of the earthquake have also been felt in India too.

To create awareness about the earthquake, an Indian has made an animated movie about the precautionary measures to be taken when tremors strike. The video shows do’s and don’ts when earthquakes strike.

“This is a tribute to Nepal. I have made an awareness video showing how earthquake occurs and people to know about it and what precautions to be taken when it occurs,” said Aman Rehman, maker of the movie. Aman said natural disasters are unavoidable but many lives can be saved if they take precautionary measures.

“This is a very simple video which can be understood even by a child, like if earthquake occurs then one can hide under a table or take other precautions looking at the video,” he added.

Aman has dedicated the animation movie to the people of Nepal and he plans to upload it on YouTube soon.

The earthquake has shaken the people across India. Moved by the misery of the people of Nepal, students and teachers took out a march in India’s eastern Siliguri town to collect funds and relief materials.

At least, 6,655 people have died and more than 14,000 people injured in a massive earthquake, measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale, which struck Nepal last week.
