Last weekend, Indian cine goers who went to watch Dangerous Ishq in 3D were treated to a sumptuous 3D promo (2 mins.18 seconds) of the soon to release Reliance Animation movie Krishna aur Kans! The 3d stereoscopic promo was played out in 376 screens across India.
The much anticipated animated treat will release in stereoscopic 3D on 3rd August 2012 in time for Janmashtami celebrations as the film subject resonates perfectly with the festival.
Talking about the positioning of the movie, Ashish SK, CEO, Reliance Animation shared, “Although the default position of Animated features is for kids, we have consciously positioned Krishna aur Kans as a family film for this Janmashtmi. We truly believe that this film will help the repositioning of Animated content in India and increase the bandwidth and reach to family audience. This film will change the way people look at animation in India.”
“The release is scheduled on the eve of coming Janmashtami and Schools and Parents should take a special interest in taking the kids in large numbers to see the Heritage Animated Stereoscope 3D film & share the experience.” he added.
