A workshop
on creating Production Rig ‘Back to bones has been organized for
animation professionals, students and enthusiasts. Being conducted
by Graphiti School of Animation, in association with CGTantra, participants
at the free seminar will be educated on how to create production
Rigs. The workshop shall be held on Friday December 21, 2007, from
1pm to 4 pm at Graphiti School of Animation, 404, Udyog Mandir No
2, Mogul Lane, Mahim West, Mumbai. The workshop will be loaded with
lots of conceptual knowledge and also tools oriented approache to
make a RIG.
The
instructor shall use a production rig and demonstrate the making
of the rig. Topics like IK / FK switch, deformers, stretchyness,
utilities etc will be discussed.

The
criteria for participating in the workshop is that the individual
should be an animation student from institutes or should be working
as an animation professional. He/she should have the knowledge of
Basic rigging in MAYA. The instructor shall use a production rig
and demonstrate the making of that rig. Topics like IK/FK switch,
deformers, pelvis stretch, utilities etc will be discussed.
The
seats are limited to 20 in each batch. In case of more registrations,
two batches could be run one after the other. Registration can be
done at the Graphiti School.
