Inc. and Nickelodeon announced that Nicktoons Unite! for the
Nintendo DS videogame system has been shipped to retail outlets
throughout North America. Nicktoons Unite! allows gamers to
play as the stars from some of the most popular Nickelodeon
TV shows, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Timmy Turner (from
the Fairly OddParents), Jimmy Neutron and Danny Phantom.
"We're
excited to have the opportunity to bring the Nicktoons series
to the Nintendo DS for the first time. Nicktoons Unite! for
the Nintendo DS takes full advantage of this innovative hardware
by utilizing the dual screen, touch screen and microphone
technology to provide a dynamic game play experience with
the most beloved Nickelodeon characters," said THQ director
of global brand management John Ardell.
"Nicktoons
Unite! will allow fans to experience their favorite Nickelodeon
characters and villains in a whole new handheld encounter,"
