Disney is adding content from ESPN and ABC sports to the shows
it already sells on Apple's iTunes online music and video
store.
Sports
highlights, news programming, several shows from its cable
networks and vintage School House Rock shorts will be available
to itunes.
Media reports state that free ad-supported video podcasts
from ABC News will be available, including daily segments
from Good Morning America and the World News Tonight webcast.
Condensed
versions of all four college football Bowl Championship Series
games will go up on iTunes the day after they're played. The
Sugar and Fiesta bowls became available Tuesday. ESPN US will
also offer spots from its This is SportsCenter ad campaign
and some of its original shows.
Episodes
of the ABC Family drama Wildfire and Disney shows Kim Possible
and The Proud Family are also on iTunes, along with Soapnet's
Soapography. As with most video offerings on the service,
each download costs $1.99.
