For Ages, an offshoot of Manoj Prakashan has launched Monster Book
Club, an official book reading club for children. The club was formally
inaugurated recently by Y.G. Parthasarthy, Dean and Chairman of
Padma Sheshadiri group of schools.
"Book Monster Club aims to redefine the concept of book reading
in young children. We have great plans to publish and distribute
books catering to three age groups: 1-5, 6-9, 10+. The experience
that our books will provide will greatly enhance, entertain, energize
and stimulate young minds" Pooja Sharma, Managing Director

"Kid's learn best when given the opportunity to touch, feel
and visualize. Pictures and illustrations attract the toddlers and
develop their interest in books. Humor and fiction are a must apart
from the regular literature a kid learns at school for children
love imagining and dreaming. Books are one of the best means to
enthuse the same" she added.
The
club will offer its young members with a variety of books to choose
from. A minimum of 15 titles are planned to be released every month.
These titles will be pre-selected from around the world and published
on the monthly catalogue for the members. A collection of folktales,
fairy tales, picture books, encyclopedias, and much more will also
be available with one new title releasing every month.
The
range of books for the 1-5 year olds category includes activity
books, picture encyclopedias, picture books and fairy tales and
will feature illustrations on every page.
Pages
For Ages, the publishing house was established in 1976. It launched
The Discovery Series Texts for which it has won a number of awards
and also has its name published in the Limca Book of Records. Pages
for Ages reaches makes its books available through schools, direct
sales, book monster club, stores and Libraries.
