Kolkata
based Elecomtoon, a division of Elecom Software Pvt. Ltd (incorporated
in 1996 as a part of US$ 70 million Elecom Group of Companies) is
gearing to scale up following its upcoming relocation to Rajarhat.
Spread over 3,000 sq feet, Elecom currently has 55 artists working
in its animation division.
Speaking
to Animation 'xpress, Elecom Toons project manager
Niloy Kantibiswas said that,"For the past two years we have
been providing our animation services to International clients from
Italy, Germany, Australia as well as doing local TVCs and Music
videos. Based on the experience we have garnered and encouraged
by our client response we are looking to scale up in terms of infrastructure
and manpower once we relocate to Rajarhat"
The studio has just finished work on is an animated music video
for one of Bollywood's biggest banners and is also working on the
pre production of an animated Hindi/Bengali film.
