The 10th edition of 'Cartoons on The Bay' international festival for Television Animation and The Pucinella Awards is scheduled to be held from 5-9 April at Positano Italy. The festival is organised and managed by Italy's Rai Trade.
The organisers have announced the last date of entries as 15 January 2006.
Amongst the categories that will be awarded are the Pre-schoolsı series, Childrenıs series, Action and Adventure series , All Audiencesı series, TV series Pilots, Short Films, TV Specials, Social and Educational programmes.
The International
Jury, based in Positano during the Festival, will award eight statuettes
for the main categories in the competition as well as the three Grand
Prizes, given for the Best Animated Character of the Year, the Best Series
of the Year and Best European Programme of the Year.
Indian studio Animagic had won an Award at the festival a couple of years ago for its multiple award winning film Raju&I
