Kids programme brand Hit Entertainment and Lego Duplo have partnered up to offer new Thomas And Friends play construction sets in the UK and Europe.Lego Duplo plans to launch the sets for the 2006 market.

Thomas And Friends is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The partnership will include four new toy sets: James at Knapford Station, Percy at the Water Tower, Thomas Load and Carry Train Set, and Toby at Wellsworth Station.

Thomas And Friends brand business director Katie Rollings says, "I am delighted to be extending Hit's relationship with Lego through the introduction of a Thomas & Friends Lego Duplo range."

Lego's Fiona Wright says, “We are delighted to be extending our relationship with HIT and are looking forward to introducing Thomas & Friends to our already popular pre-school range. The Lego Thomas And Friends products have been designed to be compatible with our Duplo range offering truly versatile play for that younger audience.”
