Softimage to Support AGEIA Physics Simulation

The Upcoming version of SOFTIMAGE|XSI 3-D modeling and animation software will support hardware accelerated physics with AGEIA physX processor and AGEIA physics SDK

AGEIA™ Technologies, Inc.recently announced that Softimage Co., a subsidiary of Avid Technology, Inc, will support the AGEIA physX™ SDK with the upcoming release of SOFTIMAGE®|XSI® version 5.0 which was launched at SIGGRAPH last week.
