FICCI FRAMES-The premier annual convention and gathering of the Indian entertainment industry organised and conducted by FICCI had this year instituted its own animation awards - FICCI BAF(best animated frames) AWARDS. The awards go into their second edition and are scheduled to be held on 5 April 2005. The number of categories have been upped from 4 in '04 to 11 for BAF' 05.

The organisers have waived the entry fee for students and NGO entries, while depending upon the category, a nominal fee of Rs 5,000 , Rs 2,500 and Rs 1,000 has been kept for the professionals and studio entries.

3. TV Episode (of a series)

4. AD Films

5. Promos

- for a proposed series
- like a trailer

6. Gaming

7. Mobile Gaming

8. Special Effects**Cat. 1 Best Shot

11. Social Welfare/ NGO
