Toonz Webel is organising a seminar , "ANIMATING INDIA" in Mumbai at the British council premises tomorrow between 2:00 - 5:00 pm.

Speakers confirmed for the event include the versatile animator Ajit Rao and Toonz Webel Academy dean, Deniss Deegan who shall speak on Animation, Caricaturing and timing.

Hirek Shah, faculty at Toonz Webel shall speak on Animation In India.

Talking to Animation 'xpress Toonz Webel project leader Shrimati Mukherjee stated, "The main objective of organizing this seminar is to create awareness about the current trends and requirements in global animation industry and potential of our programme vis-a-vis the rationale behind choosing animation as a career. This seminar would also help us to promote the academy as well. Apart from that, we are also inviting the professionals from entertainment and animation industry. We would like to inform the industry that we will be in a position to provide industry ready animation professionals by middle of next year."

The next batch (1 year diploma programme in 2D and 3D animation ) at TWA starts with 100 seats in December'04.
