ties up with FICCI, forms FICCI-VEC
Being
planned by well known VFX producer Madhusudhanan
for quite some while now, VEC (Visual Effects Community)
is finally getting into shape. VEC has tied up with
FICCI and shall be known as FICCI - VEC now. FICCI's
Sumeet Gupta who is incharge of the BAF awards has
been appointed as Officer in Charge of the new community
aimed at fostering collaboration amongst VFX artists

Mauj
Releases Sarkar mobile game
Wireless
solutions provider Mauj recently launched a mobile
game on the soon to release Sarkar.
The game was
announced launched for Cellone Galaxy,BSNLs
GPRS portal designed, powered and managed
by MAUJ. Abhishek Bachchan star of Sarkar,
unveiled the game at a press conference held in
New Delhi.
Commenting
on the launch of wireless content of Sarkar
on Cell One and the tie up with MAUJ, Anil K Sinha,
CMD, BSNL said, Today, downloads form a
significant part of revenues for cellular providers
and nothing connects with the common man like
Bollywood. Film-based games and content are a
rage with people and hence we want our subscribers
to have the best wireless content available. The
game, Sarkar, powered by MAUJ, is
another step in that direction.

Academy Kolkata conducts first convacation ceremony
on June 26

based ToonzWebel academy recently conducted its
first convacation ceremonty amidst cheers and honors.
The ceremony was conducted at the ITC Shonar Bangla
in Kolkata.
Toonwebel academy has a new dean Mike Nichols. Nichols
has been in the animation industry for about 15
years now and has been involved with many popular
Animated Television Series amongst them being ,
Eek the cat and Bob and Margaret.
Nichols joins Toonzwebel as former dean Dennis Deegan's
1 year contract ended a few weeks ago. |
