Animax reaches 8 million homes in 4 days
Distribution plays a major role in making new or niche channels accessible to viewers and it seems like the One Alliance magic has worked for the recently launched 24/7 animation channel Animax.

A company release states that "the channel has achieved connectivity in excess of over 8 million cable and satellite homes within four days of its launch."

Coming from the SPTI portfolio, Animax is part of the One Alliance boquet which includes all Sony channels and offerings from broadcasters such as Discovery and NDTV.
